Situated on the south west coast, the Port of Teignmouth is well placed to serve south west England and isjust 12 miles from the M5. Ball clay is the port's principal traffic, handling some 200,000 tonnes each year.
The port also handles animal feed and a wide variety of other dry bulks including grain, agribulks, stone chippings, salt, and forest products, as well as heavy lifts and abnormal loads. Open storage is available for timber cargoes. Teignmouth's warehouse facilities all have load-bearing walls and are capable of storing virtually any type of cargo.
There is a MHRA site in Torquay and another one to the south in Paignton.
