Durham Tees Valley Airport is an international airport located just east of Darlington, about 10 miles South-West of Middlesbrough and 24 miles south of Durham. The airport serves County Durham, Teesside and parts of North Yorkshire. The airport is still widely recognised by its previous name, Teesside International Airport.

There is a strong amount of warehousing available in the Teeside area to the North-East. In Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees there is decent outside and undercover storage to accommodate all types of bulk cargo including specialist products and raw materials. There is also HMRC approved bonded warehousing, and highly secure premises with bespoke security services.

Transport links are strong and along the A66 in boith directions there are a number of specialist logistics and warehousing businesses. These can provide 3PL and other suplly chain solutions, bulk pallet storage, and other fulfilment services.
